Hi, I’m Kristian. I’m a freelance Whitby-based Videographer/Editor with over six years’ experience of filming and editing promotional videos, live events, documentaries and weddings. I am highly passionate about telling stories in a visually engaging way. I thrive on developing creative ideas and producing high quality, professional videos that connects you with your key audience.
I approach every job with enthusiasm and commitment. I believe the best work is done when people understand each other so before starting any project I like to get to grips with your brief to ensure a solid understanding of the video in hand. I make certain that the final product has a modern and up-to-date finish to guarantee your full satisfaction.
When I’m not working on a project I tend to spend spare time learning about the latest video / editing techniques, and filming experimental projects purely for experience and fun!

WHAT I DO
Directing
I have the ability to capture something real and authentic in every subject. Having directed short films, theatre productions, documentaries and music videos, I am competent in visualising the script and directing actors in a way that ensures the fulfilment of that vision.
Editing
I am confident in using adobe products to produce a video that combines consistency and accuracy with originality and flair.
Production design
Using my knowledge of technical drawing, colour theory, history of design, lighting, cameras and lenses, production design allows me to create a specific mood, atmosphere and context for a video through bringing together the setting and style to visually tell a story.
Storyboarding
One of the most important stages of planning out a video is creating a storyboard. I have experience in producing storyboards for wedding films, promotional videos, events and documentaries. I am able to organise any video, text, photos, audio or graphics used, in a way that ensures they compliment each other.
